A founding membership in The Noun Directories — a curated directory connecting California-based projects, events, spaces, and hospitality with the businesses, creatives, and services available for hire, commission, collaboration, or sourcing.
Think of the hotel commissioning a sculptor, the boutique stocking a small-press book, the estate hiring a private chef—if California's projects and spaces could hire or source from you, this list is where they'll look.
Founder's rate: $120/year, locked while your listing stays active. (Regular membership: $240/year or $25/month.)
Launch feature: The first 100 approved Founder's Circle members are printed in The Noun No. 002, our Food & Travel issue, launching August 1st.

· Active promotion of the directory to local media, event coordinators, hotels, venues, and tourism boards across San Diego, Los Angeles, and the Bay Area — our job is to get your business in front of the people hiring.
Who can join. Open to businesses, independent professionals, artists, studios, content creators, venues, hospitality providers, and service and product providers — based anywhere — who can serve California-based projects, events, spaces, or hospitality. A working website and/or public Instagram, business email, and service area are required.
Approval. The Noun Directories is curated. All listings are subject to review and approval. Payment does not guarantee publication. The Noun reserves the right to decline or remove listings that are incomplete, misleading, inactive, unprofessional, unsafe, discriminatory, deceptive, or otherwise not aligned with the directory.
Not eligible. Adult-oriented or sexually explicit businesses, illegal services, counterfeit goods, hate-based organizations, or exploitative services.
Membership terms. All memberships are final — no refunds. Your Founder's Circle year runs August 1, 2026 – August 1, 2027. Listings go live August 1, when The Noun Directories launches. After payment, we'll email you a short form to complete your listing details; completed listings are reviewed and published at launch. Cancel anytime to stop future renewals; cancellation ends renewal and does not refund the current term. Memberships renew annually at your locked rate.
